Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK SEAT MEMORY INDICATOR CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect driver seat control unit and seat memory switch.
- Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and seat memory switch harness connector.
Driver seat control unit Seat memory switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B0029 10 D60 13 Yes 26 14 - Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.
Driver seat control unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal B0029 10 No 26
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2.
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK MEMORY INDICATOR POWER SUPPLY
Check voltage between seat memory switch harness connector and ground.

GO TO STEP 3.
NO
Check the following:
- 10A fuse No. 1.
- Harness for open or short between memory indicator and fuse.
- CHECK MEMORY INDICATOR
Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Replace seat memory switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
