Diagnosis Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2016 Infiniti QX60. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM (Bose Audio w/Navi w/o Surround) or WIRING DIAGRAM (Bose Audio w/Navi and Surround).

  1. CHECK LED A CIRCUIT CONTINUITY

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect TCU connector M47 and telematics switch connector.
    3. Check continuity between TCU connector M47 and telematics switch connector R105.

      M47 35 R105 2 Yes

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO 2  .

    NO 

    Repair or replace harness or connectors.

  2. CHECK TELEMATICS SWITCH

    Check continuity between telematics switch terminals.

    Telematics switch Condition Continuity
    Terminal Terminal
    2 7 Switch pressed Yes
    Switch released No

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace TCU. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO 

    Replace telematics switch.
