Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .

CHECK MICROPHONE SIGNAL CIRCUIT CONTINUITY

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect Bluetooth^® control unit connector B3 and microphone connector.

Check continuity between Bluetooth^® control unit connector B3 terminals 7, 8, 29 and microphone connector R109 terminals 4, 3, 1.

Check continuity between Bluetooth^® control unit connector B3 terminals 7, 8, 29 and ground.

Is inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO STEP 2 .

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

CHECK MICROPHONE VCC VOLTAGE

Connect Bluetooth^® control unit connector B3.
Turn ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between terminals of Bluetooth^® control unit connector B3.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO STEP 3.

Replace Bluetooth^® control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

CHECK MICROPHONE SIGNAL

Connect microphone connector.

Check signal between terminals of Bluetooth^® control unit connector B3.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace Bluetooth^® control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Replace microphone. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
