Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK DISK EJECT SIGNAL CIRCUIT CONTINUITY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect AV control unit connector M192 and multifunction switch connector.
- Check continuity between AV control unit connector M192 terminal 28 and multifunction switch connector M98 terminal 14.
AV control unit Multifunction switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M192 28 M98 14 Yes - Check continuity between AV control unit connector M192 terminal 28 and ground.
AV control unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M192 28 No
Is inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair or replace harness or connectors.
- CHECK AV CONTROL UNIT VOLTAGE
- Connect AV control unit connector M192 and multifunction switch connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between AV control unit connector M192 terminal 28 and ground.
AV control unit Ground Condition Voltage
(Approx.)(+) (-) Connector Terminal M192 28 - Pressing eject switch 0 V Except above 5.0 V
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace AV control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Replace multifunction switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
