Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .

CHECK HORIZONTAL SYNCHRONIZING (HP) SIGNAL CIRCUIT CONTINUITY

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect AV control unit connector M45 and display unit connector.

Check continuity between AV control unit connector M45 terminal 62 and display unit connector M93 terminal 8.

M45	62	M93	8	Yes

Check continuity between AV control unit connector M45 terminal 62 and ground.

AV control unit		Ground	Continuity
Connector	Terminal
M45	62		No

Is inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO STEP 2 .

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

CHECK HORIZONTAL SYNCHRONIZING (HP) SIGNAL

Connect AV control unit connector M45 and display unit connector.
Turn ignition switch ON.

Check signal between display unit connector M93 terminal 8 and ground.

Is inspection result normal?

YES

Replace AV control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Replace display unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
