Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK TILT MOTOR POWER SUPPLY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect tilt motor.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Perform "ACTIVE TEST" ("TILT MOTOR") with CONSULT.
- Check voltage between tilt motor harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace tilt motor. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK TILT MOTOR CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect automatic drive positioner control unit.
- Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit harness connector and tilt motor harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace automatic drive positioner control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
