Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK TELESCOPIC MOTOR POWER SUPPLY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect telescopic motor.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Perform "ACTIVE TEST" ("TELESCO MOTOR") with CONSULT.
- Check voltage between telescopic motor harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace telescopic motor. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
GO TO STEP 2.
- CHECK TELESCOPIC MOTOR CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect automatic drive positioner control unit.
- Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit harness connector and telescopic motor harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace automatic drive positioner control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
