Diagnostic Test

- CHECK BRAKE WARNING LAMP FUNCTION (1)
Check that brake warning lamp in combination meter turns ON for approximately 2 seconds after ignition switch is turned ON.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .
- CHECK BRAKE WARNING LAMP FUNCTION (2)
Check that brake warning lamp in combination meter turns ON/OFF when parking brake is operated.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Inspection End.
NO
Check parking brake switch system. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .
