Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check the terminals and connectors of the side radar RH for damage, bend and loose connection (unit side and connector side).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair the terminal and connector.
- CHECK RIGHT/LEFT SWITCHING SIGNAL CIRCUIT
Check the right/left switching signal circuit of the side radar RH. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair the root cause.
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
- Disconnect the connector of side radar RH.
- Check the resistance between the side radar RH harness connector terminals.
Side radar RH harness connector Resistance (Ω) Connector No. Terminal No. B109 4 3 Approx. 54 - 66
Is the measurement value within the specification?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Repair the side radar RH branch line.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check the power supply and the ground circuit of the side radar RH. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES (Present error)
Replace the side radar RH. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
YES (Past error)
Error was detected in the side radar RH branch line.
NO
Repair the power supply and the ground circuit.
