Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE) POWER SUPPLY
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between air mix door motor (passenger side) harness connector and ground.

(Approx.)Air mix door motor (passenger side) Connector Terminal M131 1 Ground Battery voltage Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
GO TO STEP 4 .
- CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE) GROUND CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect air mix door motor (passenger side) connector.
- Check continuity between air mix door motor (passenger side) harness connector and ground.
Air mix door motor (passenger side) - Continuity Connector Terminal M131 3 Ground Yes
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK INSTALLATION OF AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE)
Check air mix door motor (passenger side) is properly installed. Refer to EXPLODED VIEW .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace air mix door motor (passenger side). Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION - AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE) .
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
- CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE) POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect air mix door motor (passenger side) connector and A/C auto amp. connector.
- Check continuity between air mix door motor (passenger side) harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.
Air mix door motor (passenger side) A/C auto amp. Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M131 1 M50 17 Yes
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace A/C auto amp. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair harness or connector.
