Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK REAR SHUT-OFF DOOR MOTOR COMMUNICATION SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check output waveform between rear shut-off door motor harness connector and ground with the oscilloscope.
+ - Output waveform Rear shut-off door motor Connector Terminal M12 2 Ground
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2.
NO
GO TO STEP 3 .
- CHECK INSTALLATION OF REAR SHUT-OFF DOOR MOTOR
Check rear shut-off door motor is properly installed. Refer to EXPLODED VIEW .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace shut-off door motor. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
- CHECK REAR SHUT-OFF DOOR MOTOR COMMUNICATION SIGNAL CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect rear shut-off door motor and A/C auto amp. connector.
- Check continuity between rear shut-off door motor harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.
Rear shut-off door motor A/C auto amp. Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M12 2 M50 16 Yes
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace A/C auto amp. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair harness or connector.
