Removal And Installation: Removal

- Remove back door finishers (upper, lower and side). Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the rear spoiler. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect the harness connectors from back door window glass defogger.
- Remove the rear wiper arm. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove back door glass (1) using a suitable tool (3).
(2): Back door assembly
- Apply protective tape around the back door window glass to protect the painted surface from damage.
- If the back door window glass is to be reused, mark the body and the glass with matching marks.
WARNING:When cutting the back door window glass from the vehicle, always wear safety glasses and heavy gloves to help prevent glass splinters from entering your eyes or cutting your hands.
CAUTION:- Be careful not to scratch the back door window glass when removing.
- Do not set or stand glass on its edge. Small chips may develop into cracks.
- Apply a protective tape around the back door window glass to protect the painted surface from damage.
- Use an inflatable pump bag (3) to assist with removing the back door window glass (2).

- Remove the back door window glass (1) from the back door assembly (2).
