Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .

1. CHECK MONROVIA SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
   
   
   1. Turn ignition switch ON.
   2. Check voltage between Monrovia motor assembly harness connector and ground.

      R4	5	Ground	Monrovia switch is operated TILT DOWN or SLIDE OPEN	0
      			Other than above	Battery voltage
      	1		Monrovia switch is operated TILT UP or SLIDE CLOSE	0
      			Other than above	Battery voltage

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES 

   Inspection End.

   NO 

   GO TO STEP 2  .

2. CHECK MONROVIA SWITCH CIRCUIT
   
   
   1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect Monrovia motor assembly connector and Monrovia switch connector.
   3. Check continuity between Monrovia motor assembly harness connector and Monrovia switch harness connector.

   4. Check continuity between Monrovia motor assembly harness connector and ground.

      Monrovia motor assembly		Ground	Continuity

      	5

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES 

   GO TO STEP 3  .

   NO 

   Repair or replace the harness.

3. CHECK MONROVIA SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
   
   

   Check continuity between Monrovia switch harness connector and ground.

   Monrovia switch		Ground	Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   R108	1		Yes

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES 

   GO TO STEP 4  .

   NO 

   Repair or replace the harness.

4. CHECK MONROVIA SWITCH
   
   

   Check Monrovia switch.

   Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES 

   GO TO STEP 5  .

   NO 

   Replace Monrovia switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

5. CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
   
   

   Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

   Inspection End.
