Diagnostic Test

- CHECK SENSOR POWER SUPPLY 2
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect ECM harness connectors
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage between ECM harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Check intermittent incident. Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK SENSOR POWER SUPPLY 2 CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect following sensors harness connector.
- Check harness for short to power and short to ground, between the following terminals.

YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
- CHECK COMPONENTS
Check the following.
- Accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor 2 (Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .)
- Camshaft position sensor (PHASE) (bank 1) (Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .)
- Camshaft position sensor (PHASE) (bank 2) (Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .)
- Engine oil pressure (EOP) sensor (Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .)
- Refrigerant pressure sensor (Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .)
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Perform INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
NO
Replace malfunctioning component.
