Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK DOOR REQUEST SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect malfunctioning front door request switch connector.
- Check signal between malfunctioning front door request switch harness connector and ground using oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK DOOR REQUEST SWITCH CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between malfunctioning front door request switch harness connector and BCM harness connector.
Front door request switch BCM Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal Driver side D15 1 M19 71 Yes Passenger side D115 72 - Check continuity between malfunctioning front door request switch harness connector and ground.
Front door request switch Ground Continuity Connector Terminal Driver side D15 1 No Passenger side D115
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK DOOR REQUEST SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between malfunctioning front door request switch harness connector and ground.
Front door request switch Ground Continuity Connector Terminal Driver side D15 2 Yes Passenger side D115 Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK DOOR REQUEST SWITCH
Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 5 .
NO
Replace malfunctioning front door request switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
