Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW MOTOR INPUT SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect front power window motor LH connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between front power window motor LH harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Condition Voltage
(Approx.)Front power window motor LH Connector Terminal D9 1 Ground Power window main switch UP Battery voltage DOWN 0 2 UP 0 DOWN Battery voltage
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace front power window motor LH. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK POWER WINDOW MOTOR CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect power window main switch connector.
- Check continuity between power window main switch harness connector and front power window motor LH harness connector.
Power window main switch Front power window motor LH Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal D56 6 D9 1 Yes 5 2 - Check continuity between power window main switch harness connector and ground.
Power window main switch Ground Continuity Connector Terminal D56 6 No 5
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace power window main switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
