Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK STEERING SWITCH CIRCUIT

    Check steering switch circuit. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .

    Is the inspection results normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

    NO 

    Repair or replace harness or connectors.

  2. CHECK STEERING SWITCH RESISTANCE

    Check steering switch resistance. Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .

    Is the inspection results normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 3  .

    NO 

    Replace steering switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. CHECK SPIRAL CABLE

    Check spiral cable for continuity. Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .

    Is the inspection results normal?

    YES 

    Replace combination meter  . Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO 

    Replace spiral cable. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
