Diagnosis Procedure
Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK WARNING SYSTEMS SWITCH SIGNAL INPUT
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between ADAS control unit harness connector and ground.
Terminals Condition Voltage
(Approx.)(+) (-) ADAS control unit Ground Warning systems switch Connector Terminal B104 1 Pressed 0 V Released 12 V Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace the ADAS control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK WARNING SYSTEMS SWITCH
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Remove warning systems switch.
- Check warning systems switch. Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Replace the warning systems switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- CHECK WARNING SYSTEMS SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between warning systems switch harness connector terminal and the ground.
Warning systems switch Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M126 8 Yes Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK WARNING SYSTEMS SWITCH SIGNAL INPUT CIRCUIT FOR OPEN
- Disconnect the ADAS control unit connector.
- Check continuity between the ADAS control unit harness connector and warning systems switch harness connector.
ADAS control unit Warning systems switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B104 1 M126 6 Yes
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 5 .
NO
Repair the harnesses or connectors.
- CHECK WARNING SYSTEMS SWITCH SIGNAL INPUT CIRCUIT FOR SHORT
Check continuity between the ADAS control unit harness connector and ground.
ADAS control unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal B104 1 No Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace the ADAS control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair the harnesses or connectors.
