Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .

1. CHECK FUSE
   
   

   Check that the following fuse is not blown.

   Terminal No.	Signal name	Fuse No.
   3	ACC power supply	65 (10A)

   Is the fuse blown?

   YES 

   Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

   NO 

   GO TO STEP 2  .

2. CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
   
   
   1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect A/C and AV switch assembly connector.
   3. Check voltage between A/C and AV switch assembly connector M98 terminal 3 and ground.

      A/C and AV switch assembly		Ground	Condition	Voltage (Approx.)

      M98	3	-	Ignition switch: ACC	Battery voltage

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES 

   GO TO STEP 3  .

   NO 

   Repair or replace harness or connectors.

3. CHECK CONTROL UNIT GROUND CIRCUIT
   
   
   1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect AV control unit connector M164.
   3. Check continuity between A/C and AV switch assembly connector M98 terminal 9 and AV control unit connector M164 terminal 98.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES 

   GO TO STEP 4  .

   NO 

   Repair or replace harness or connectors.

4. CHECK SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
   
   

   Check continuity between A/C and AV switch assembly connector M98 terminal 1 and ground.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES 

   Inspection End.

   NO 

   Repair or replace harness or connectors.
