Component Inspection (Stop Lamp Switch)

  1. CHECK STOP LAMP SWITCH

    Check for continuity between stop lamp switch terminals.

    Terminal Condition Continuity
    1 2 When brake pedal is depressed Yes
    When brake pedal is released No
    3 4 When brake pedal is depressed Yes
    When brake pedal is released No

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Inspection End.

    NO 

    Replace stop lamp switch.
