Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK UNIFIED METER AND A/C AMP. INPUT SIGNAL
- Connect the CONSULT.
- Select the "Data Monitor" of the "METER/M&A" and check the "PKB SW" monitor value. Refer to COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace combination meter.
NO
GO TO STEP 2.
- CHECK PARKING BRAKE SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT
Check the parking brake switch signal circuit. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE (A/T MODELS) or DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE (M/T MODELS) .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3.
NG
Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK PARKING BRAKE SWITCH
Check the parking brake switch. Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace combination meter.
NO
Replace parking brake switch.
