Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK OIL PRESSURE WARNING LAMP
Perform auto active test of IPDM E/R. Refer to DIAGNOSIS DESCRIPTION .
Is oil pressure warning lamp illuminated?
YES
GO TO STEP 2.
NO
GO TO STEP 4.
- CHECK OIL PRESSURE SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT
Check the oil pressure switch signal circuit. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3.
NO
Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK OIL PRESSURE SWITCH
Check the oil pressure switch. Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace IPDM E/R.
NO
Replace oil pressure switch.
- CHECK UNIFIED METER AND A/C AMP. INPUT SIGNAL
- Connect the CONSULT.
- Select the "Data Monitor" of the "METER/M&A" and check the "OIL W/L" monitor value. Refer to COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace combination meter.
NO
Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
