Front Drive Shaft And Drive Chain: Disassembly

  1. Separate front case and rear case. Refer to DISASSEMBLY .
  2. Remove drive chain and front drive shaft assembly.
    CAUTION:

    Never use tools. Always remove by hand.

  3. Remove front drive shaft front bearing with the drift (A) and separator (B).

    A : Drift [SST: ST31214000 (J-25269-B)]
    B : Separator (commercial service tool)
  4. Remove front drive shaft rear bearing with the drift (A) and separator (B).

    A : Drift [SST: ST31214000 (J-25269-B)]
    B : Separator (commercial service tool)
  5. Remove plug from front drive shaft.
  6. Perform inspection after disassembly. Refer to INSPECTION .
