Sunroof Switch

  1. CHECK SUNROOF MOTOR ASSEMBLY INPUT SIGNAL

    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Check signal between sunroof motor assembly harness connector and ground with oscilloscope.
      (+) (-) Signal
      (Reference value)
      Sunroof motor assembly
      Connector Terminal
      R10 9 Ground

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace sunroof motor assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

  2. CHECK SUNROOF MOTOR ASSEMBLY INPUT SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN AND SHORT

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect BCM harness connector and sunroof motor assembly harness connector.
    3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and sunroof motor assembly harness connector.
      BCM Sunroof motor assembly Continuity
      Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
      M14 54 R10 9 Exists
    4. Check continuity between sunroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.
      Sunroof motor assembly Ground Continuity
      Connector Terminal
      R10 9 Not existed

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO 

    Repair or replace harness or connector.
