Diagnostic Test
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect sunroof motor assembly harness connector.
- Check voltage between sunroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Condition Voltage (V) Sunroof motor assembly Connector Terminal R10 3 Ground Ignition switch is OFF and 45 seconds are passed 0 When driver side or passenger side door is opened during retained power operation Ignition switch ON 9 - 16 Within 45 seconds after ignition switch is turned to OFF 6 Ignition switch ON 9 - 16 Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect BCM harness connector.
- Check continuity between BCM harness connector and sunroof motor assembly harness connector.
BCM Sunroof motor assembly Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M17 140 R10 3 Existed 141 6 - Check continuity between sunroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.
Sunroof motor assembly Ground Continuity Connector Terminal R10 3 Not existed 6
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Check BCM power supply and ground circuit. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check continuity between sunroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.
Sunroof motor assembly Ground Continuity Connector Terminal R10 1 Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES
INSPECTION END
NO
Repair or replace harness.
