  Behind front fender protector (LH)        
No. Component Function
  Rain sensor * Refer to RAIN SENSOR .
  BCM
  • Judges each switch status by the combination switch reading function.
  • Requests (via CAN communication) the front wiper relay and the front wiper HI/LO relay ON to IPDM E/R.
  • Refer to COMPONENT PARTS LOCATION for detailed installation location.
  IPDM E/R
  • Controls integrated relays according to the request (via CAN communication) from BCM.
  • Performs the auto stop control of front wiper.
  • Refer to COMPONENT PARTS LOCATION for detailed installation location.
  Front wiper motor Refer to FRONT WIPER MOTOR .
  Combination meter Transmits vehicle speed signal to BCM via CAN communication.
  Combination switch
(Wiper & washer switch)
  • Combination switch: Transmits the status of the combination switch (wiper and washer) to BCM.
  • Wash switch: Refer to WASHER SWITCH .
  Washer pump Refer to WASHER PUMP .
  Washer level switch Refer to WASHER LEVEL SWITCH .
