Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK REAR WOOFER CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect BOSE amp. harness connector and rear woofer harness connector.
    3. Check the continuity between BOSE amp. harness connector and rear woofer harness connector.
      BOSE amp. Rear woofer Continuity
      Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
      B53 1 B79 1 Existed

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

    NO 

    Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

  2. CHECK REAR WOOFER CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND

    Check the continuity between rear woofer harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 3  .

    NO 

    Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

  3. CHECK REAR WOOFER CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO POWER SUPPLY

    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Check the voltage between rear woofer harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace rear woofer. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO 

    Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
