Diagnosis Procedure

PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS OF INTEGRAL SWITCH
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. After ignition switch ON, press "RADIO" switch and "MENU" switch at the same time more than 3 seconds within 10 seconds.
3. A beep sounds, and all the air-conditioner switch indicators turn on, and a self-diagnostic mode is started.
4. Press each multifunction switch and check the beep sound.
NOTE:
Self-diagnostic mode is ended when the ignition switch turns OFF.

Does the beep sound by all the switch operations?

YES

INSPECTION END

NO

GO TO STEP 2 .

CHECK MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH

Check the multifunction switch. Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Repair or replace harness between integral switch and multifunction switch which does not operate.

NO

Replace multifunction switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
