Diagnosis Procedure

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check the signal between BOSE amp. harness connector as per the following condition.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

Replace BOSE amp. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

NO 

GO TO STEP 2  .

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect BOSE amp. harness connector.
3. Check the voltage between BOSE amp. harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

GO TO STEP 3  .

NO 

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

1. Disconnect front microphone harness connector.
2. Check the continuity between BOSE amp. harness connector and front microphone harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

GO TO STEP 4  .

NO 

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

Check the continuity between BOSE amp. harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

Replace front microphone. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

NO 

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
