Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK FUSE

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Check that the following fuse is not fusing.
      Power source Fuse No. Capacity
      Ignition switch ON #14 5 A

    Is the fuse fusing?

    YES 

    Replace fuse after repairing the applicable circuit.

    NO 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

  2. CHECK IGNITION POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Check the voltage between sonar control unit harness connector and ground.
      Terminals Voltage
      (+) (-)
      Sonar control unit
      Connector Terminal
      M76 12 Ground Battery voltage

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 3  .

    NO 

    Repair sonar control unit power supply harness.

  3. CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect sonar control unit harness connector.
    3. Check the continuity between sonar control unit harness connector and ground.
      Terminals Continuity
      (+) (-)
      Sonar control unit
      Connector Terminal
      M76 15 Ground Existed

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    INSPECTION END

    NO 

    Repair sonar control unit ground harness.
