Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to "WIRING DIAGRAM ".

1. CHECK AUX SOUND SIGNAL CIRCUIT CONTINUITY 
   1. Turn ignition OFF.
   2. Disconnect AV control unit connector M162 and front auxiliary input jacks connector.
   3. Check continuity between AV control unit connector M162 and front auxiliary input jacks connector.

   4. Check continuity between AV control unit connector M162 and ground.

      Is inspection result normal? 

      YES: GO TO 2.

      NO: Repair or replace harness or connectors.

2. CHECK AUX SOUND SIGNAL GROUND CIRCUIT CONTINUITY 

   Check continuity between AV control unit connector M162 and front auxiliary input jacks connector.

   Is inspection result normal? 

   YES: GO TO 3.

   NO: Repair or replace harness or connectors.

3. CHECK AUX SOUND SIGNAL 
   1. Connect AV control unit connector M162 and front auxiliary input jacks connector.
   2. Turn ignition switch to ACC.
   3. Select AUX mode.
   4. Check signals between terminals of AV control unit connector M162.

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: Replace front auxiliary input jacks. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".

      NO: Replace AV control unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION - AV CONTROL UNIT ".
