AUTOMATIC BACK DOOR CONTROL UNIT: Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to "WIRING DIAGRAM ".

1. CHECK FUSIBLE LINK 

   Check that the following fusible link is not open.

   Fusible link No.	Signal name
   N (40A)	Battery power supply

   Is the fusible link open? 

   YES: Replace the open fusible link after repairing the affected circuit.

   NO: GO TO 2.

2. CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 
   1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect automatic back door control module connector.
   3. Check voltage between automatic back door control module harness connector and ground.

      Automatic back door control module

      B56	25	Ground	Battery voltage

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: GO TO 3.

      NO: Repair or replace harness.

3. CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT 

   Check continuity between automatic back door control module harness connector and ground.

   B56	32		Yes
   	28
   B55	4 (except Mexico)

   Does continuity exist? 

   YES: Inspection End.

   NO: Repair or replace harness.
