Diagnosis Procedure

Check ECM ignition power and ground circuits. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".

Is the inspection result normal? 

YES: Replace ECM. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ". GO TO 2.

NO: Repair or replace harness or connectors.

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Select "Self-diagnostic result" mode with CONSULT.
3. Touch "ERASE".
4. Perform vehicle remote start operation.

   Does DTC B261B return? 

   YES: Replace BCM. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".

   NO: Inspection End.
