Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK FUEL LEVEL SENSOR CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect unified meter and A/C amp. connector and fuel level sensor unit (sub) connector.
    3. Check continuity between unified meter and A/C amp. harness connector and fuel level sensor unit (sub) harness connector.

      M67 42 B21 1 Existed
    4. Check continuity between unified meter and A/C amp. harness connector and ground.

      M67 42 Not existed

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: GO TO 2.

      NO: Repair harness or connector.

  2. CHECK FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT (MAIN-SUB) CIRCUIT 
    1. Disconnect fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (main) connector.
    2. Check for continuity between the fuel level sensor unit (sub) harness connector and the fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (main) harness connector.

      B21 2 B22 2 Existed
    3. Check for continuity between the fuel level sensor unit (sub) harness connector and the ground.

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: GO TO 3.

      NO: Repair harness or connector.

  3. CHECK FUEL LEVEL SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT 
    1. Check continuity between fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (main) harness connector and unified meter and A/C amp. harness connector.

      B22 5 M67 58 Existed
    2. Check for continuity between the fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (main) harness connector and the ground.

      B22 5 Not existed

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: Replace unified meter and A/C amp. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".

      NO: Repair harness or connector.
