Removal and Installation: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the drain plug to drain the transfer fluid. Refer to "VQ37VHR: DRAINING " (VQ37VHR), "VK50VE: DRAINING " (VK50VE).
  2. Remove the front propeller shaft. Refer to "VQ37VHR: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " (VQ37VHR), "VK50VE: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " (VK50VE).
  3. Remove front oil seal.
    CAUTION: Never damage the front case and front drive shaft.
