Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove cooling fan assembly. Refer to "EXPLODED VIEW ".
  2. Remove low-pressure pipe 3. Refer to "EXPLODED VIEW ".
  3. Remove drive belt. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  4. Remove mounting nut (A), and then disconnect high-pressure flexible hose (1).
    CAUTION: Cap or wrap the joint of the A/C piping and compressor with suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of air.

  5. Disconnect compressor (ECV) connector (A).
  6. Disconnect compressor (magnet clutch) connector (B).
  7. Remove harness fixing clip (C)

  8. Remove mounting bolt (A), and water suction pipe (1) a position without the hindrance for work. Refer to "EXPLODED VIEW ".

  9. Remove floor under cover. Refer to "EXPLODED VIEW ".
  10. Remove mounting bolt (A), and then remove harness bracket a position without the hindrance for work.
  11. Remove mounting bolt (B) from compressor (1).

  12. Remove mounting bolts (A), and then remove compressor from upper side of the vehicle.
