- Remove air duct (inlet). Refer to
"EXPLODED VIEW
".
- Remove engine under cover and engine under cover rear with a power tool. Refer to
"EXPLODED VIEW
".
- Remove A/T fluid cooler hose A and A/T fluid cooler hose B.
- Remove exhaust mounting bracket with power tool. Refer to
"VK56VD: EXPLODED VIEW
".
- Disconnect heated oxygen sensor 2 connectors (A).

- Remove heated oxygen sensor 2 harness (B) from clips (1).
- Remove bracket (2) from A/T assembly. Refer to
"VK56VD (2WD): EXPLODED VIEW ".
- Remove the A/T fluid cooler tube mounting bolts.
NOTE:
Cap or plug openings to prevent fluid from spilling.
- Remove the clips and bands fixing two A/T fluid cooler tubes.
- Remove the A/T fluid cooler tubes one at a time from the vehicle.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to bend A/T fluid cooler tubes.
