Diagnosis Procedure

Perform auto active test. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS DESCRIPTION ".

Does oil pressure warning lamp blink? 

YES: GO TO 2.

NO: Replace combination meter.

1. Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Check voltage between the oil pressure switch harness connector and ground.

   Terminals			Voltage
   (+)		(-)
   Oil pressure switch		Ground
   Connector	Terminal
   F37	1		Approx. 12 V

   Is the inspection result normal? 

   YES: GO TO 3.

   NO: GO TO  4.

Perform a unit check for the oil pressure switch. Refer to "COMPONENT INSPECTION ".

Is the inspection result normal? 

YES: Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".

NO: Replace oil pressure switch.

Check the oil pressure switch signal circuit. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".

Is the inspection result normal? 

YES: Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".

NO: Repair harness or connector.
