Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK COMBINATION METER INPUT SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage and waveform between combination meter harness connector and ground.
Terminals Condition Voltage and waveform (+) (-) Combination meter Ground Connector Terminal M53 27 Parking brake applied Approx. 0 V Parking brake released Is the inspection result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: GO TO 2.
- CHECK PARKING BRAKE SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect combination meter connector and parking brake switch connector.
- Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and parking brake switch harness connector.
Combination meter Parking brake switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M53 27 E107 1 Existed - Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and ground.
Combination meter Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M53 27 Not existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Repair harness or connector.
