Removal and Installation: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the drain plug to drain the transfer fluid. Refer to "DRAINING ".
  2. Remove the front propeller shaft. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  3. Remove the plug.
  4. Remove the O-ring from the plug.
  5. Remove the snap ring.
  6. Remove the front shaft flange, using a plastic hammer.
  7. Remove the dust shield from the front shaft flange, using puller and replacer.

  8. Remove front oil seal from front case.
    CAUTION: Never damage the front case.
