Diagnosis Procedure (M/T models)
- CHECK COMBINATION METER INPUT SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage and waveform between combination meter harness connector terminal and ground.TERMINAL VOLTAGE REFERENCE CHART
Terminals Condition Voltage (Approx.) (+) (-) Combination meter Connector Terminal M53 27 Ground Parking brake applied 0 V Parking brake released Is the inspection result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: GO TO 2.
- CHECK PARKING BRAKE SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect combination meter connector and parking brake switch connector.
- Check continuity between combination meter harness connector terminal and parking brake switch harness connector terminal.TERMINAL CONTINUITY REFERENCE CHART
Combination meter Parking brake switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M53 27 B14 1 Existed - Check continuity between combination meter harness connector terminal and ground.TERMINAL CONTINUITY REFERENCE CHART
Combination meter Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M53 27 Not existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Repair harness or connector.
