Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK UNIFIED METER AND A/C AMP. INPUT SIGNAL
    1. Connect the CONSULT-III.
    2. Select the "Data Monitor" of the "METER/M&A" and check the "PKB SW" monitor value. Refer to "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK ".

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: Replace combination meter.

      NO: Go to 2.

  2. CHECK PARKING BRAKE SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT

    Check the parking brake switch signal circuit. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE (A/T MODELS) " or "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE (M/T MODELS) ".

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: Go to 3.

    NG: Repair harness or connector.

  3. CHECK PARKING BRAKE SWITCH

    Check the parking brake switch. Refer to "COMPONENT INSPECTION ".

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: Replace combination meter.

    NO: Replace parking brake switch.
