Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK BCM OUTPUT SIGNAL
    1. Select "IPDM E/R" using CONSULT-III.
    2. Select "IGN RLY1-REQ" in "DATA MONITOR" mode.
    3. Check that the function operates normally according to the following conditions.
      MONITOR ITEMS CONDITION CHART

      Monitor item Condition Status
      IGN RLY1-REQ Ignition switch ON On
      OFF Off

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: Replace automatic back door control unit.

      NO: Replace BCM. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
