Removal and Installation: Removal

Always check the air bag diagnosis sensor unit ECU discriminated number (identification number) using CONSULT.
Disconnect each connector of all air bag modules and the pre-tensioner seat belts.
Remove the center console assembly. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
Disconnect the diagnosis sensor unit harness connector.
Remove the console bracket fixing bolts (A), and then remove the console bracket (1).

Remove the diagnosis sensor unit fixing bolts (B), and then remove the diagnosis sensor unit (2).

CAUTION:

Replace the diagnosis sensor unit of deployed driver air bag module, deployed passenger air bag module, deployed side air bag module, deployed curtain air bag module or deployed seat belt pretensioner.
Never impact the diagnosis sensor unit.
Replace the diagnosis sensor unit if it has been dropped or sustained an impact.
