Diagnosis Procedure (M/T model)

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check the voltage and waveform between combination meter harness connector M53 terminal 27 and ground.

   27 - Ground

   Parking brake ON : Approx. 0 V

   Parking brake OFF :

Is the inspection result normal? 

YES: INSPECTION END

NO: GO TO 2.

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect combination meter connector and parking brake switch connector.
3. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector M53 terminal 27 and parking brake switch harness connector B14 terminal 1.

   27 - 1 : Continuity should exist.

4. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector M53 terminal 27 and ground.

   27 - Ground : Continuity should not exist.

Is the inspection result normal? 

YES: INSPECTION END

NO: Repair harness or connector.
