Power Supply and Ground Circuit Inspection

CHECK FUSE
Check 10A fuse [No. 12, located in fuse block (J/B)].

OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 2.
2. NG: If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate case of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to POWER SUPPLY ROUTING CIRCUIT .
CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect compass connector.
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Check voltage between compass harness connector M81 terminal 4 (Y/G) and ground.
  4 (Y/G) - Ground: Battery voltage
OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 3.
2. NG: Check harness between compass and fuse.

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check continuity between compass harness connector M81 terminal 1 (B) and ground.
  1 (B) - Ground: Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
1. OK: INSPECTION END
2. NG: Repair or replace harness for ground circuit.
