Back Door Handle Switch System Inspection

BACK DOOR HANDLE SWITCH SIGNAL INSPECTION
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. While operating the back door handle switch, check voltage between back door control unit connector B55 terminal 26 and ground.

OK or NG
1. OK: Switch is OK.
2. NG: GO TO 2.

BACK DOOR HANDLE SWITCH CIRCUIT INSPECTION
1. Disconnect back door handle switch and back door control unit.
2. Check continuity between back door handle switch connector D706 terminal 3 and back door control unit connector B55 terminal 26.
  1. 3 (V) - 26 (V): Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 4.
2. NG: Repair or replace harness.

BACK DOOR HANDLE SWITCH GROUND INSPECTION
Check continuity between back door handle switch connector D706 terminal 4 and ground.
1. 4 (B) - Ground: Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
1. OK: Replace the back door handle switch.
2. NG: Repair or replace harness.
