7. Check Compression Pressure

Check compression pressure. Refer to CHECKING COMPRESSION PRESSURE .

  1. Standard: - 1,320 kPa (13.5 kg/cm 2 , 191 psi)/300 RPM 
  2. Minimum: 1,130 kPa (11.5 kg/cm 2 , 164 psi)/300 RPM 
  3. Difference between each cylinder: 98 kPa (1.0 kg/cm 2 , 14 psi)/300 RPM 

OK or NG 

OK: GO TO 8.

NG: Check pistons, piston rings, valves, valve seats and cylinder head gaskets.
