Brake Pedal Free Play

Brake pedal free play "A" should be .12-.43 in. (3-11 mm). See Figure . Loosen lock nut, and adjust clearance "C₁ " and "C₂ " with stoplight and cruise disengage switch. Tighten lock nut to 12-15 ft. lbs. (16-22 N.m). Ensure stoplights go off when brake pedal is released.
