Section 445 (Rear Seat (Power Adjuster Type)): Removal

HINT:

When removing the rear seat, lift the headrests up to the highest position.

  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLIES 
    1. Pull up the front portion of the seat cushion assemblies, then remove them.
    2. w/ Seat heater: Disconnect the connector.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 hole covers and 2 screws

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Fold the rear seat armrest cover.
    3. Remove the 2 screws and rear seat armrest cover from the center armrest.

  3. REMOVE SEATBACK BOX PLATE 

    Using a screwdriver, remove the seatback box plate.

    HINT:

    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLIES 
    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear seat belt from the belt guide as shown in the illustration.
    2. Employ the same manner described above to the other sides.

    3. Remove the "A" bolts, "A" nuts and rear seatback assembly RH, then disconnect the connectors.
    4. Remove the "B" bolts, "B" nut and rear seatback assembly LH, then disconnect the connectors.
      NOTE: Be careful not to damage the body.
    5. w/ Seat heater: Disconnect the connector.

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Using a screwdriver, remove the seat track covers.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    3. Remove the 3 bolts, nut and rear seat adjuster assembly.
    4. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
      NOTE: Be careful not to damage the body.
